Help & device integration

Everything you need to get your fleet monitored — from your first pool to wiring a sensor straight into the API.

Getting started

Add a pool
Sign in and add your first pool (name, address, volume). Volume drives every dose, so keep it accurate. Have a whole book of pools? Use Import to load a CSV.
Get readings in
Pair a NerraFlow sensor for live monitoring, or just Log a water test from a strip or kit. Either way you’ll get a dose.
Work from Today
The Today tab shows exactly which pools need a visit, worst-first, with the dose to add — built for a phone in the van.

Connect a device (API)

Any device that can make an HTTPS request can push readings to NerraFlow. Pair a device on a pool (Devices → add) to get its DEVICE_KEY, then POST readings to the ingest endpoint. No other auth is needed — the key identifies the device and its pool.

Endpoint
POST https://uobcaftjeixgkvvgdhhk.supabase.co/functions/v1/ingest
Auth
device_key in the JSON body (keep it secret — treat it like a password).
Content-Type
application/json
Body fields

All metrics are optional, but send at least one. Values outside the plausible range below are ignored as sensor glitches (they can’t skew a dose).

FieldUnitValid rangeMeasures
ph—0 – 14Acidity / alkalinity

Example request
curl -X POST https://uobcaftjeixgkvvgdhhk.supabase.co/functions/v1/ingest \

    "free_cl": 1.6
  }'
Response

The dosing brain runs the instant a reading lands, so the response already includes any open alerts and the current recommendation:

{
  "ok": true,
  "reading": { "id": 12345, "ts": "2026-08-24T02:14:00Z", "ph": 7.4, ... },
  "open_alerts": [],
  "recommendations": [
    { "chemical": "pH decreaser (dry acid)", "amount_g": 180, "reason": "pH high at 7.8" }
  ]
}
Rotating a key. If a device key is ever exposed, open Devices, rotate the key, and reflash the device — the old key stops working immediately.

How dosing works & safety

NerraFlow evaluates every reading — live or manual — against target ranges for pH, sanitiser (chlorine/ORP), alkalinity, stabiliser, calcium and salt, then works out the dose for that pool’s exact volume. When more than one thing is off, it orders the steps sensibly.

Doses are indicative guidance, not a substitute for judgement. Always verify against a certified test before adding any chemical, add one product at a time, and retest before the next. Never mix chemicals.

Sharing & branding

Every pool can have a live, read-only “your water” link you share with the customer — no login, just the current status. Add a customer email on the pool to send it straight to them. Put your own logo and colour on those pages under Account → Company branding, and generate a printable service report from any pool.

Billing & plans

Every account starts with a 14-day free trial — full access, no card. Plans are capped by pool count (Starter, Pro, Fleet); pick one from Billing when you’re ready. Change or cancel anytime from the billing portal; your data stays put either way.

FAQ

How often should a device send readings?
Every few minutes is typical. NerraFlow marks a sensor “offline” if it hasn’t reported in about three hours, so send at least a few times an hour to stay live.
What if my pool has no sensor yet?
You can run NerraFlow entirely on manual tests — open any pool, tap “Log a water test”, and enter your strip or kit readings. You’ll get the same dosing guidance.
Why did a sensor go “offline”?
No readings arrived for over three hours. Check the device’s power and internet connection. The last known readings stay visible but are flagged as possibly out of date.
Can my customers see their pool?
Yes — open a pool → Settings → “Share with customer” to create a live, read-only link (no login). Add a customer email to send it to them directly, branded with your logo.
Are the doses exact?
They’re careful estimates from your pool’s volume and latest readings, meant as guidance. Always verify against a certified test, add one product at a time, and retest before the next.
How do I export my data?
Any pool → “Export CSV” for its full history, or Import → “Export fleet (CSV)” for every pool at once.
