⚠️ Read this before acting on anything the Service tells you. NerraFlow is a monitoring and decision-support tool for pool-service professionals. It does not replace your own professional judgement, a certified water test, or the instructions of chemical and equipment manufacturers.
1. Information only — not professional advice
The readings, statuses, trends, alerts and chemical-dosing recommendations shown in the Service (together, the "Outputs") are provided for general information and decision-support purposes only. They are estimates generated from sensor data and indicative water-chemistry models. They are not professional, chemical, engineering, health, safety or legal advice, and they are not a substitute for:
- your own qualified professional judgement as a pool-service operator;
- a current test performed with a properly calibrated, certified test kit or laboratory analysis; or
- the safety data sheets (SDS), dosing instructions and warnings issued by the manufacturers of the chemicals and equipment you use.
2. Verify before you dose
Always independently verify every reading and recommendation with a certified manual test before adding any chemical to any pool or spa. Water chemistry is affected by many factors a sensor cannot see (bather load, recent dosing, stabiliser levels, water balance, temperature, sunlight and more). Dosing based on an unverified Output can result in over-dosing or under-dosing.
You are solely responsible for:
- deciding whether, when and how much of any chemical to add;
- handling, storing, transporting and dosing chemicals safely and lawfully; and
- complying with all applicable standards, codes and laws, including (where relevant) Australian Standards for swimming pool and spa water quality and safety, work health and safety (WHS) laws, and local council or public-health requirements.
3. Sensors and data can be wrong or unavailable
Sensors and probes drift, foul, fail, lose power or lose connectivity. Data may be delayed, incomplete, out of date, or inaccurate, and the Service may be unavailable at times. A pool showing "in range", "offline", or no alert must not be taken as confirmation that the water is safe or correctly balanced. Do not rely on the Service as your only source of information, and never rely on it for anything safety-critical.
4. Chemical safety
Pool and spa chemicals are hazardous. Incorrect handling or dosing can cause serious property damage, chemical reactions, injury, illness or death. Always follow the manufacturer's SDS and instructions, use appropriate personal protective equipment, never mix incompatible chemicals, and keep chemicals away from children and animals. If you are unsure, stop and seek qualified advice.
5. No health or medical advice
The Service is not a medical or public-health device and does not provide medical advice. It does not certify that any body of water is safe for human contact. Responsibility for the health and safety of pool users rests with the pool operator and owner.
6. Assumption of responsibility & limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you assume full responsibility for your use of the Service and the Outputs, and NerraFlow is not liable for any loss, damage, cost or injury arising from your reliance on the Service or the Outputs. This disclaimer is subject to the liability terms in our Terms of Service, which you should read in full.
7. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this disclaimer excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you may have under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), including the Australian Consumer Law, or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our liability is limited to the extent set out in our Terms of Service.
